The Dream Machine: a Gothic Celebration of Dreams & Cephalopods

‘The Dream Machine’ was a collaborative project as part of Brighton’s White Night 2010. Involving comics, animation, installations, projection and live performance, it explored the mind of a man who delved deep into his own dreamscape. It was conceived by Kate Genevieve, character designs by Andy Pearson, and contributions by an army of talented south coast animators and artists.

It was through meeting Andy Pearson on this project that my work came to the notice of Myriad Editions Creative Director, Corinne Pearlman.

Co-creator Kate Genevieve speaks at Reason To in 2010 about the origin and backstory to her dream creation. If you wait to the end (start at 2mins 30secs), you’ll see a bit of my octopus coming out of Marlborough House.
